Scouts at the ice rink

There was a cub scouting thing tonight at Skate Nation Plus. Let me tell you this is the first time Jacob has ever ice skated, and maybe the second time Gary has ever had skates on in his life! If I didn't have a sprained foot I KNOW I'd have been the one out there with Jacob. The last time I ice skated I was pregnant with Jacob, so its been a while. After a bigger skate and some more coercion Gary got back out on the ice with Jacob for a second try. I went out to get a coat and pants for Mason and when we came back they were quarter of the way around the rink. I am so proud of both of them, because Gary loathed it I'm sure but was a great sport! And by the time we caught up to them Jacob had a huge smile on his face and was willing to skate away from Gary. He had a blast. Even though it took them the entire time to get all the way around the rink. I am so proud of them both and want to mention that when we were putting the boys to bed tonight Jacob said "I want to go ice skating for my birthday!" I don't think that will happen but I'd love to take them both back sometime when I'm not injured or pregnant. (: Enjoy the pictures I didn't get tons but I got a video too.
