Trunk-or-treat ready

Just a few pictures of the boys before we left for Trunk-or-treat. I forgot my camera when we left since we were running late. I wish I could claim that we planned a family of super heros but alas, we did not. Samuel is superman, Mason buzz lightyear and Jacob is Dan from bakugan.

Happy 10th Birthday Jacob

What a slacker, I didn't even post pictures of anything for Jacob on his birthday. So let me tell you 10 things about our Jacob that make him the special little man he is.

1. He is a great big brother.

2. He is a excellent helper when it comes to cleaning up anything.

3. He is VERY good at math, ask him something sometime.

4. He likes to help cook and learn all about cooking.

5. He is super smart!

6. Great with the computer.

7. Gives great hugs & kisses.

8. Wants to please everyone.

9. Has the sweetest heart!

10. Is an excellent friend.

He is our little man no more, he has hit the double digits and is grown up! As I look back and think how has it been a whole year for Samuel. I begin to wonder, where have 10 years gone? Jacob has been an interesting child in some wonderful ways. I'm not sure I'm looking forward to the teenage years but if things go the way they have the past 10 then they can only be good.

We love you Jacob! Happy Birthday sweetheart and we hope you had a great day!

Waiting in line

I know its hard to see but there is a huge line of cars waiting to pick-up their child(ren) from school. That's not even half of them, not to mention the ones waiting out in the road to turn. Its 5 minutes after the bell rang and there's a line in the turn line too! Come on Echo Lake you have got to do something about your parking lot! Oh wait I think we are about to move, yay! Rant over...till next time.

Samuel, what can I pick to be the one thing about you that shows just how special you are to me?

1. You are and have always been a happy child.

There are SO many things about you that make us happy and love you lots! When you wake up you don't start screaming to get out of bed. It doesn't seem to bother you when Mason "loves/squishes" on you. You look just like your brothers! You are trying so hard to walk and talk. You are extremely patient(and we all hope that continues!). You smile when I walk in the room. And when I've been gone for a while you miss me! You are flexible and don't go crazy if your schedule changes.
