Preschool

Yesterday Mason started Preschool, real preschool I guess you could say. We've done it here and with some friends in the Ward. But he really enjoyed it and that is all that mattered to me. Gary laughed at me and asked me if I would be ok?! NO my baby is almost ready to start school! Where have the last 5 years gone? He is only 4 but will be 5 in July. Gary called me after I dropped Mason off and asked me if I had cried and how he had done.

As I was filling out the phone number and emergency contact paper Mason came over and asked me if he could go with me when I left? I tried not to say no but quickly said "look there is your friend such-&-such, don't you want to go play with them?" And before he could answer another person from our ward came in and I convinced him to go say hi and he never asked me again about leaving. When I picked him up he was SO excited to see me and said he had fun. When the teacher asked if he would come back tomorrow he said "yes". He is a trooper and was a sweet gentle angel I'm sure. The teacher said when we were leaving how smart he was, which of course made me feel good.

Oh Mason, how I miss you already and its only your second day and you are only gone for a few hours. What am I going to do in September?! You have made my mornings fun while we waited for Jacob to come home from school or Samuel to wake up. I hope you are having a wonderful time and making lots of new friends! I love you Mason!

I guess I'll go cry now...I'll add a picture later. Of him not me crying :p

How frustraiting!

Somebody came up to our house and stole the spare tire and tire cover right off the back of our Jeep! Can you believe it?! So this is for the person who violated us by taking something that didn't belong to you.
May our tire run flat as soon as you drive it! Leaving you stranded without your phone! OR may someone else steal it from you!

Ok I feel better now, now we have to wait for the insurance company to replace it. Because the police here don't seem to care unless we have a suspect. Well if we did we'd GO get the tire ourselves! Do you want us to solve any other crimes for you while we are at it?! I guess that means we can go steal someone else's tire as long as they don't know us.

Somehow that just doesn't make any sense to me! Oh well I'm no longer gonna let you live "rent free" in my head.
