Tired of waiting...
This picture is way out of order but this is my mom waiting at the V.A. Hospital for my dad to come out of surgery. She'd been there all day so she was exhausted! This is a picture I found on my phone of the boys & G waiting for my dad to come out of surgery too.
Not enough time to cook
One of the women working at Wendy's thought the boys were so sweet so she brought them both a frosty for free. So they were obviously in heaven!

Couldn't get to church on time
Ok so it was completely my fault we were late, I was just exhausted. I didn't sleep very well last night so when we got to church instead of going into the overflow we went to the RS Room and this is what ensued. And our friend Chawn playing w/the boys.

Going for a walk
So after dinner we decided to go for a walk so here are the boys. Jacob was finally able to enjoy his bike we got him for his birthday over a year ago. They had a blast!
Top down weather
Today was a really beautiful day, it started off rather chilly but by afternoon it was definetly top down weather! The boys love being able to drop the top and turn the radio ALL the way up! So here are our cuties enjoying the day in the jeep.

Daddy's little helper
I know this is a few days late but it was too cute to not post. Saturday G took on the task of changing our kitchen faucet. And of course M had to help so with his own Craftman's tools he decided he was going to help. G did a great job and I must say it looks great. I'll have to take a picture of the finished product because now we have a soap dispenser too it looks great and I'm happy with it too! So here is our little helper.

Who's your idol?!
So it must have been a Best buy because we decided we just had to have the game "Rock Band" and let me tell you its funny to see a 2 year old and a 7 year old demand that they play the drums. Or maybe thats just me, well not really funny but entertaining. Especially when neither one actually hits the pad but the plastic around it. So here is a picture of my mom & dad and J playing Rock Band. We never made it past the first song, but everyone got a try to sing, drum & play the guitar. So if you haven't tried it you should its fun. We also got "American Idol" which my mom, dad & I tried out last night. We laughed our heads off at each other and had a good time. So come on over and we'll do a duet!
J racing
Here is J enjoying a racing game on the XBox. Why is it so much fun to play these games at the store? But everytime we go to any store that has game systems we MUST stop and play them.
Best Buy fun 2
Of course both boys want to ride in the new buggies. So here they are squeezed into it! I hope you find this as funny and cute as G & I did. Poor J had to lean way back to get his foot out. He is really getting older, where have the last few years gone?

Singing...
I love to hear M sing so I thought maybe you'd enjoy this video of him. He couldn't decide if he wanted to sing the ABC's or Twinkle twinkle little star song. So here they are together. And yes thats a bruise on M's face, how I'm not sure but he hit himself with the Story time theater just below his eye and thats what it looks like now. He is full on and non-stop! What are we gonna do when another kid comes along? I hope he has calmed down by then. Please!!!
Huh? What?
Have you ever got an email from somebody you sorta know, but not well enough to have give them your email address? Today when I was checking my email, which I tend to do every day. I had this evite from a person I didn't know. So outta curiosity I decided to check this out. Now don't be fooled I do know stuff about computers, after all thats what G does right. Plus I figured this is a site I've used a few times before and didn't think it'd be a problem. And it had this kids name I thought "maybe" I knew who he was. After all, our neighbor has the same name. So after clicking on the link I saw that it was from our neighbors after all. The only thing is, I don't know them other than waving when we leave or get home or vice versa. So here was my thought, this family whom I don't know. How did they get my email address, I mean we've only lived in this house for a year?! I've never really talked to either parent. I just can't seem to figure out how they got my email address. Strange huh?! Anyhow I just needed to rant so thanks for listening.

Just one of those days...
Ok so before I even start let me say M is 2! He is definitely 2! I'd like to say that this has only been going on since his second birthday but I'd be lying. So if you have any suggestions we are all for them.
M & I went to singing time which he was VERY excited about. We ended up getting there late because I'd driven my mom's T&C home the day before and had to move the carseats back to my car. So after rehooking the carseats and realizing that I should really get gas first(and didn't) we made it there by 10:30, with 3o minutes left. Then he decided he didn't want to sit in the Primary room and sing he wanted to be in the hall on the couch. In his defense it does smell like B.O. in the room with the door closed and some other funky smell. Maybe the glue from the new carpets they put in 2 months ago. So after trying to coerce him into going back in, we did but only for the last song.
Then he proceeds outside and runs all over the place following the older boys toward the front of the building. Now for those of you who have 2 year olds or have had them you will know what I'm talking about when I say...I tried the please come back here method, the I'm gonna count to 3 method & I'm leaving method. Which finally works, so we headed over to the park to play with the same group from church. He and JB decide they need to run all over the park and get sticks, now I'm really trying to be patient and let him be a boy. So I stand there with Rachel & Tara as I watch M & JB go from one end of the playground to the other. Mind you there are several other kids & groups there too. As it gets closer to lunch time I realize that what the noise I'm hearing is my stomach growling from not eating breakfast and its after 12:00. So again I tell M we are leaving in 5 minutes, you know kids they need a warning so they can prepare to not listen and not want to leave. About 5 minutes into it (give or take) I tell him its time to leave. Ok I already told you he is two, so what does he do? Look at me and go right back to playing, so I tell him again. Its time to go bye bye we need to go to XYZ. No, what he and JB are looking at is WAY too interesting to leave. So I try the "I'm walking to the car" nope nothing. He doesn't even notice me, he's 2! My patients is wearing thin now because I'm hungry, my gas tank is on empty and I'm exhausted from lack of sleep. Not to mention if I want to rest at all I have to get him home and fed and in bed before J gets here. Or he just wouldn't want to do it. And we know what a 2 year old is like when they haven't had their nap, not pretty! So after playing the "I'm gonna inch closer to the car" doesn't work I just gave up and did it his way. I walked over and had to hold my 2 year olds hand as we walked from the park screaming. And no not all of it was coming from me either.
We head over to get gas from Costco and so does everyone else in Richmond apparently. So I decided to go to Sam's, when M yells in the backseat that he wants to go in. After I tell him no because he didn't listen at the park he proceeds to complain the whole way home. We get home and after lunch we are both happier it seems. Boy what a little food can do for grumpiness!
J comes home and lets me crash on the couch while he reads to me his new library books. Then a friend comes over with her 3 daughters to play for a bit before our husbands come home. Its always fun to waste time with a friend when your kids like their kids. The day just goes by so much faster! So thanks CC you are awesome and so are your girls!
So I was finally able to get some sanity after bedtime and laundry which never seems to end or does it? Do you ever feel like you've washed all the laundry only to look in the hamper to find there is at least 2 or 3 other things that weren't there before you finished the last load? I think somebody is hiding those last articles of clothing till the washing machine is finished. And I'm not about to wash 3 things by themselves. Oh well, my bed is calling me!

Oh my have I lost my mind
Ok so if you check your email and see that you have like a bazillion emails from our blog forgive me I have lost my mind! I was adding this cute "ticker" and couldn't figure out why it was saying Gary & I had been married for 8 years when I just knew it was only 7. Duh! I know I'm definitely gone when he reminded me that this is 9 years! What they heck has happened to the last decade almost. I guess I forgot! Now come on how many of you have forgotten how long you've been married or when you got married. I'll just blame it on one thing and then I'll feel better.

Hair cut
Ok, so J has been needing a haircut for a few weeks. His hair in the back tends to stick up especially after he's had a shower/bath and sleeps on it. So after dinner we had some time, so I asked him if he wanted me to cut his hair before he took a shower?! Of course he said yes. I got out our new clippers that I'd like to mention I've only used once now and got a guard #3 out to use. I didn't think anything about it but started to cut when I realized OOPS! That is REALLY SHORT! It was even more evident once I'd finished. But hey summer is coming and now he won't need one for a while. He was happy with it so that is all that matters, and we like it too. He is awesome I'd like to say! And here is his new haircut.

First time
So this is my first time blogging so bare with me as I learn how to do this. Today M and I went to playgroup @ the mall and hung out. While we were there I talked to this mom who started a business making cute onsies and toddler t-shirts. The site is www.sassyonesies.com check it out, they are great shirts!
Since it was teacher appreciation week, of course we forgot to send J's teacher's gifts with him to school so M and I had to take them over. We came home and I laid M down for a nap and I waited for J, once M got up the boys played in the bouncer for a bit while I got dinner ready. I'll have to add the picture I took tomorrow its getting late and I'm exhausted! We were up way too late last night. There was a storm and none of the boys(even dad) like storms so at midnight everyone was in our bed until almost 2am! Man do I need a nap and a half!
